Bloom privacy policy

Bloom collects nothing. This page explains what that means precisely, and how you can confirm it without taking my word for any of it.

Last updated 18 September 2026 Applies to Bloom for Android

Bloom is a free game for Android made by Khanjan Kavani. Most privacy policies exist to explain what an app takes from you. This one exists to explain that Bloom takes nothing, and to give you a way to check.

The short version

ThingBloom
Personal information collectedNone
Analytics or usage trackingNone
Crash reportingNone
AdvertisingNone, and no ad SDK in the build
Advertising IDNot requested, not read
Accounts or sign inNone
In-app purchasesNone
Android permissions requestedNone at all, including internet
Data sent off your deviceNone, by any route

What Bloom stores

Your game progress, and only that: Seeds earned, upgrades bought, spirits unlocked, your daily streak, and your best runs. It is written to the app's own storage on your phone under a single entry.

It never leaves the phone. There is no account to create, no sign in, and no copy on any server. I cannot see it. Nobody else can either. Uninstalling Bloom deletes it, permanently and with no backup.

Why I can make a stronger claim than usual

Bloom does not hold the INTERNET permission.

On Android, an application without that permission is not allowed to open a network connection. Not restricted, not discouraged: the operating system refuses. Even if the app contained code that tried to send something somewhere, and it does not, that code would fail.

This is why the policy above is short. Almost every clause a privacy policy normally needs, about who receives your data and under what circumstances and how long they keep it, describes things that happen over a network connection this app cannot make.

How to verify it yourself

  1. Open Bloom's Google Play listing and look at the permissions section. It will say no permissions required.
  2. Read the Data safety section on the same listing. It will say Bloom does not collect or share any user data. That declaration is made to Google, not to you, and misdeclaring it has consequences for me.
  3. Put the phone in aeroplane mode and play. Nothing degrades, because nothing was waiting on a server.

Advertising

There is none. No banners, no full screen ads between runs, no rewarded video, and no advertising SDK compiled into the app.

Earlier development builds of Bloom were ad supported, and that was removed before any public release. The advertising code, the advertising identifier permission and the ad network configuration were deleted from the project rather than switched off.

Children

Bloom is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. Because it collects no information from anybody, it collects none from children either.

Deleting your data

There is nothing on a server to delete, because nothing is ever sent to one. To remove what the game has stored on your device, either clear the app's data in Android's settings or uninstall Bloom. Both wipe your progress permanently and neither can be undone.

Payments

Bloom is free with no in-app purchases and no subscription, so no payment information exists for me to handle or protect.

This website is a separate thing

The policy above is about the Bloom Android app. This website, khanjankavani.com, is ordinary hosted web pages and is covered by the site privacy policy, which is a different document with different answers. Reading this page is a web visit like any other. Playing the game is not.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If Bloom ever began collecting anything, that would be a significant change and it would be stated plainly here and in the app's update notes. I have no plans to do so, and the absent internet permission means doing so quietly is not available to me.
